Boarding policy
Check-in Times
You must be at the boarding dock for check-in within the following deadlines:
- Opening hours for check-in gates:
- Cap-aux-Meules: 5 a.m.
- Souris: 8 a.m.
- We strongly recommend that passengers arrive at least 75 minutes before departure, in order to respect crossing schedules.
- Gates for check-in reservations will close 60 minutes before departure. No reservation will be guaranteed after this deadline.
LATECOMERS: Late vehicles are automatically redirected to the standby line and you will lose your guarantee of a place on the crossing. The same scenario may apply if the information relating to the type and/or dimensions of the vehicle is different from the booking.
It is important to prepare all your personal effects (to be brought with you to the ship’s cabin) before boarding starts. Once you have parked on the car deck, you must exit your vehicle as quickly as possible.
